Up-cycling
We seek out and find materials in a variety of ways. Thrift stores,
estates sales and local garage sales are our main sources. Word of
mouth and friends and family have been another great source to find real
treasures. We also accept donations of unwanted goods and will take
the time to either use them for our creations or find outlets to recycle
the merchandise.
Our store aims to offer you the most pleasant shopping experience.
Although important, recycling is more than just dropping off cans,
bottles and newspapers at the nearest recycling center. Diverting
recyclables from the waste stream is the first of three steps in the
recycling process. The second step occurs when companies use these
recyclables to manufacture new products. Finally, the third step occurs
when you, the consumer, purchase the products made from the recovered
materials. We sell the finest merchandise in our branch at prices you
won't find anywhere else, and - most important - we value our customers.
Our goal is to meet YOUR requirements through our commitment to the
quality of our products and customer service.
Recycled product myths
False: Recycled products are inferior in quality
Recycled products have the same quality, reliability, and dependability.
A 1996 survey by the Buy Recycled Business Alliance asked hundreds of
corporate purchasing agents about their satisfaction with recycled
content products. The survey results showed that 97% of respondents were
pleased with the performance of recycled content products.
